The Fescue Boys were an American country band that enjoyed particular popularity around Atlanta and Georgia.
history
Before the Fescue Boys joined WSB in Atlanta , the group had appeared on WBGE in Atlanta and WTJH in East Point, Georgia. After their first appearance at WSB, the station's management engaged the band for their weekly country show WSB Barn Dance , where they performed every evening until they were canceled in 1950. In 1953 the Fescue Boys got a record deal. They were also known for their skits and comedy.
