The Flowers of Romance
The Flowers of Romance is a former punk band from the 1970s . The only remarkable thing about this “project” was the composition of the members who later became famous in other bands, such as B. Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols , Keith Levene of The Clash and later Public Image Ltd. and Palmolive and Viv Albertine from Slits . One can hardly speak of a band with the Flowers of Romance, because they actually only practiced and fell out, but neither gave concerts nor made any recordings. The band existed from the summer of 1976 until the spring of 1977.
Public Image Ltd. named one of their albums after the band in 1981.
