The Gambia Echo (GE) was an early Gambian newspaper published weekly. It was first published by the Gambia Echo Newspaper Syndicate in Bathurst (now Banjul ) under Egerton L. Auber. From December 1947 the newspaper was run by the publisher Lenrie Peters Senior , who worked as a journalist for it, until his death in 1968.
