The Gators were an American rock 'n' roll band from Tennessee .
The band was formed in 1961. During her career she played in the Nashville area and other parts of Tennessee - mostly at high school dances and clubs. Between 1962 and 1963 the Gators played regularly in the Black Poodle Lounge (Printer's Alley, Nashville). Her repertoire was shaped by the 1950s and early 1960s rock 'n' roll, pop, doo wop , rhythm and blues and soul .
In 1961 the band recorded the single Sunburst b / w Canadian Moonlight for Dot Records , which had limited success. It was dissolved in 1963.
