The George Family was an American country group that appeared on the radio regularly in the 1950s.

biography

Father Manunay George ran the George Family. He was previously a disc jockey in Clovis, New Mexico . His wife Evelyn played the guitar and sang, as did their daughter Carmelita, who played the piano and sang. From 1957 they could be heard regularly on the KCLU radio station. They even recorded a record that had the tracks Blue Christmas on the A-side and White Christmas on the B-side. However, the George Family failed to achieve further success.
