Music video

The music video was directed by Mary Lambert, the game scenes were shot in black and white photography , the recordings of the musical performance in color. At the beginning, three eccentrically dressed and partly masked people dance, Sheila E. drives by in the car in the form of the protagonist. The three people walk past a shop dancing. This is followed by shots of Sheila E. with the drums in the foreground; the accompanying studio musicians play keyboard and guitar, among other things, and act more on the sidelines. While Sheila E. sings the song in the studio, the action continues in cutscenes: When the journey ends, Sheila E. gets out of the car in a fur coat and goes to a woman who is sitting on a park bench, depressed. She gives Sheila E. flowers, who then pushes a few banknotes into her hand. A man approaches Sheila E., they both embrace. In the course of the plot, the protagonist cuddles with men in different places.

Sheila E. can be seen on the drums during her performance, whirling around several times, throwing her drumsticks into the air and also striking the raised crash cymbal with her foot without losing the rhythm. The three people can be seen again; At the end of the video, the game and music scenes are blurred, Sheila E. slowly walks down a flight of stairs.
