The God Machine was a rock band that existed from 1991 to 1994.
The members Robin Proper-Sheppard ( vocals , guitar ), Jimmy Fernandez (bass) and Ronald Austin ( drums , piano ) knew each other from high school and played in a formation called the Society Line . In London , they first appeared as The God Machine in a club in Camden . They then recorded some EPs and recorded their first album, " Scenes From The Second Storey ".
After the end of the recording for their second album " One Last Laugh In A Place Of Dying ... " Jimmy Fernandez probably died of a brain tumor and the band broke up.

The God Machine play experimental, melancholy rock with echoes of noise . Her songs consist of complex, dark, sometimes hard guitar walls with alternating calm passages.
