The Goit
The Goit is a canal in Lancashire , England . It was built by Thomas Hawksley from 1850 to 1857 and connects the west side of the Rake Brook Reservoir at its northern end ⊙ with the north end of the Anglezarke Reservoir at its south end over a length of 6.4 km . ⊙
