The Goit

The Goit at White Coppice

The Goit is a canal in Lancashire , England . It was built by Thomas Hawksley from 1850 to 1857 and connects the west side of the Rake Brook Reservoir at its northern end with the north end of the Anglezarke Reservoir at its south end over a length of 6.4 km .
