The Honey Trees were an American dream pop band from Sacramento and San Luis Obispo , which consisted of Becky Filip and Jacob Wick.
history
The group started in 2008 with their EP Wake the Earth, produced by Charlie Peacock in Nashville . The band name came from the nickname of a person from Filip's circle of friends. During live performances, the formation was expanded into a quartet . After years of live concerts and constant development and improvement, they felt ready to release a full album with Bright Fire . The album was released on April 8, 2014, after a recording process of four years in total. Jeremy Larson and Morgan Goodwin can be heard as guest voices, with Larson also being responsible as sound engineer, mixer and co-producer.
