The technically incapable boss Denholm is deceived by Jen during the interview and so she is hired as the head of the IT department because of the details she has given in her resume. Roy and Moss, the two technicians in the department, quickly find out that Jen has no knowledge of computers. They want to report this to Denholm, but decide against it when they witness how Denholm fires an entire department for lack of teamwork. After Roy was beaten up by a disgruntled woman whom he had previously been extremely poor in helping with support, Jen finally makes himself useful as a "relationship manager" and tries to increase the popularity of the IT department.

Denholm, the boss of the company, declares war on stress. Moss and Roy therefore have to attend a stress seminar. Meanwhile, Jen buys a pair of shoes that she “fell in love” with. She is ashamed of her big feet in front of the saleswoman and buys the shoes several sizes too small. After all, shoes and a fire cause a lot of chaos and stress in the IT office.

Jen impresses security guard Daniel by answering all of his music questions - by guessing. Roy and Moss invent a dangerous person to lure people onto an online dating site and win a bet. Things go terribly wrong when Daniel realizes that Jen was just guessing and he was on the TV show “ Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? “Loses.

While Roy is stuck under a desk and asks Moss for help, Jen uses the time to discover the secret of the "red door". She eventually discovers Richmond, a lonely Goth. Richmond was Denholm's right hand man until he discovered his love for Cradle of Filth and became a Goth. Jen tries to get him back to his old job while Roy tries not to become a "desk beater".

Jen goes out with colleague Bill Crouse, which turns out to be a big flop. That's why Moss should get rid of Bill in the office. Moss does that too, albeit with an extraordinary lie. He announces that Jen is dead. Bill then goes around saying that he was the last man who slept with Jen. Meanwhile, to explain all the memorial flowers outside the office, Moss tells Jen that she has been named employee of the month. Due to some incidents, Bill thinks that Jens Geist is following him. Great confusion arises when Jen shows up at her own memorial service.

Jen's menstruation ("Aunt Irma") has unexpected effects on the entire department: She is in a bad mood, Moss is feeling strange, Roy bursts into tears and even Richmond is feeling gloomy. The healing, a women's evening with scented candles and "dirty dancing", saves the day until they show up at the office party and there is a rude awakening the next day.

Jen is invited to the theater by a colleague who Roy and Moss think is gay, not least because of the play's title, “Gay! - A Gay Musical ”. Of course, both of them will come along too. During the break they want to urinate, but cannot because of the staring "toilet man". When Roy accidentally pulls the emergency cord on the disabled toilet, he pretends that he is disabled and that his wheelchair has been stolen, while Moss is involuntarily recruited as an employee after using the employee toilet. Jen convinces the behavior of her "date" more and more that he is really gay, which he finally admits. He was only interested in Jen because she looks "like a man" to him.

When his “creative bookkeeping” is exposed, Denholm commits suicide by jumping out of the window in front of his employees. Pippin, Denholm's successor, visits Jen to tell her that he hates the IT department and will close it as soon as possible. Meanwhile, based on an online test, Roy thinks he will die next Thursday at 3 p.m., which will be exactly during Denholm's funeral. A few seconds after 3 p.m., Roy apparently has a heart attack, but it only turns out to be his mobile phone vibration alarm pimped up by Moss. The will video of a smoking Denholm leads Jen to start smoking again. Thereupon Denholm's son Douglas stormed into the church, flirted intensely with Jen, was chosen by Denholm as the new boss of the company in a second video and fired Pippin.

The episode begins with Moss and Roy trying to watch an illegally acquired vampire film together. But Roy's apartment is too narrow and the distance to the big TV is too short. In addition, a friend of Roy tries to tell him the end of the film, and the television breaks. Suddenly Moss realizes that he and Roy spend a lot of time together and that they act like an old married couple. He leaves Roy's apartment, disturbed. The following day, Jen recommends that the two of them meet other people so they can pursue their own interests. Moss then answers a contact ad from a German that he thinks is a cooking class. Meanwhile, Douglas, the company's new boss, offers Roy to watch the film at his home. But that doesn't really work because Douglas keeps making annoying assumptions about the end of the film. Moss' cooking course turns out to be not very harmless, because the German Johann doesn't actually offer a cooking course, but is a cannibal and is looking for someone he can cook and eat. This is an allusion to the "cannibal of Rotenburg", Armin Meiwes . After the misunderstanding has cleared up, Moss and Johann watch a film together, which Moss Roy and Jen reported on the next day. While Jen is outraged and wants to call the police, Roy is enthusiastic about the description of the TV and forges a plan with Moss to go to Johann again that evening under the pretext that Roy wants to be eaten to finally watch the vampire film to be able to. But this time too, they are disturbed and arrested by the police for possessing a black copy. Jen struggles with her cigarette addiction flare up again in this episode. Smoking cigarettes used to be considered cool, while today it is frowned upon and places where smoking is moving to increasingly remote locations. So Jen finally quits smoking.

Jen has found a new love and is having a party with her new boyfriend Peter and six of her friends. Unfortunately, all of the men who were invited came up with something just before the party. So, after a long hesitation, Jen invites Roy, Moss and Richmond to the party. Roy's table neighbor is a model who has injured her face in a car accident and therefore has to wear a bandage on her face after a restorative operation. Roy keeps asking her questions about the exact course of the accident and the degree of facial disfigurement. Moss's table neighbor tends to become very intrusive after drinking alcohol. Moss tries to keep his distance politely. The Richmond table neighbor is very nervous and speaks all the time. She and Richmond fall in love and let their passions run free in Jen's apartment. During the evening it is announced that Jens Freund's full name is Peter File (Eng. Peter Viel). If pronounced incorrectly, his name sounds like the word "pedophile" (German: pedophile). This fact bothers Jen more and more, so that she leaves Peter at the airport instead of flying with him to Paris for a romantic weekend as planned.

When Jens's pinching bra throws a meeting off the rails, Moss overcomes fear of women's underwear and invents a bra that is guaranteed not to fail. Initially, he achieved some fame through his invention, which led him to adopt a pseudonym. During an appearance on Newsnight this leads to an embarrassing mix-up. It then turns out, however, that his "improved" bra has a slight heat problem. Ultimately, this also ruins the appearance of the three (Jen as the presenter, Roy as the fitness trainer) at The Dragon's Den .

Douglas obtains an elixir of love from a shaman to seduce Jen and promotes her to be his personal assistant. Moss and Roy regain full control of their office and begin to work through the "list of things we mustn't do when Jen is around". When Douglas tries to give Jen the drug he got from the shaman, an incident occurs.

Roy thinks he knows a craftsman who works for Jen from the ITV series Builders from Hell (English: Craftsmen from Hell). Startled by Roy's story, Jen oversees the renovation. Douglas faces Reynholm Industries' financial difficulties.

Roy feels the need to socialize a little more with the outside world. When he sees Moss making small talk with a messenger in perfect soccer slang, he pricks up the ears. Moss shows him a website that not only has the most important slang phrases for every current game, but can also read them out with the correct pronunciation. Roy and Moss make friends with some soccer fans in a bar. A short time later, Roy becomes unsuspecting in the role of a getaway driver in a bank robbery perpetrated by supposedly new friends. Meanwhile, Jen is annoyed about her relationship with her boyfriend, because she can't let go of the thought that he looks like a wizard after Moss and Roy emphasized it several times.

As a result of the events in the last episode of the second season, Jen, Roy and Moss have filed for compensation from Douglas. In addition, he must wear pants that give off an electric shock with minimal erotic excitement. Roy encourages Jen in her consideration of being superfluous in the company, whereupon she applies elsewhere. Moss throws a coffee mug at Roy, so he has to take off his t-shirt. While Roy, only wearing a jacket and pants, is out and about in the building, an elderly lady loses consciousness. The paramedic urges Roy to give her his jacket. Since he is provocative with his bare torso, he is thrown out of the building by the security service. He finds clothes in the trash, looks like a homeless man and is treated like that. Jen comes back from an interview and takes Roy back into the company. Moss has suffered a concussion and an electric shock there. Jen decides to stay with the company, as the completely disturbed Roy and Moss obviously cannot do without her after all.

Jen becomes “Employee of the Month” and therefore has to give a speech to the shareholders about the work of her department. Since she has no idea about computers , she asks Roy and Moss for help. To denounce Jens' ignorance, the two build a black box and tell Jen that the box is about the entire Internet . Unfortunately, this plan only partially works, as not only Jen shines through ignorance, but also the awe-inspiring shareholders. Douglas meanwhile has an interview with April, a journalist who writes for the fictional magazine "Richest Magazine". Douglas was voted "Man of the Year". He starts a relationship with April. Due to a misunderstanding, he escapes April's admission that she used to be a man and sleeps with her. When the misunderstanding clears up later, he angrily wants to part with her. The two start a violent fight in which they finally rush into the room where Jen is giving her speech and destroy the "box with the Internet". Chaos breaks out, everyone is mixed up, and Roy and Moss are still having fun.

The episode begins with a commercial for the fictional social network Friendface. When Roy learns that Jen is a member of this network, he begins to list the disadvantages of social networks such as advertising. However, when Jen tells that you can play Scrabble on the platform and that the pretty women from the seventh floor are also members, Moss and Roy register immediately. You begin to handle almost all internal office communication via the platform. Jen begins to develop an addiction to the platform and spends every free minute in front of it. She got in touch through Friendface with a former classmate with whom she has a dinner date. When Jen learns of her enviable situation in life, she feels uncomfortable in her role and wants to "prove" to her former classmate that it was the same for her. She is invited to a party with her former classmates and asks Roy to pretend to be her husband. But thanks to Friendface he has an appointment with an unhappy previous love affair. Jen finally persuades Moss to come to the party as her husband. Roy tries to explain to his ex that he doesn't love her and apologizes for being with Jen now. To prove it, he goes with her to that party where Moss and Jen are already trying desperately to prove their "happy marriage".

The attractive employees on the seventh floor are looking for a way to raise money for charitable purposes. Roy, who happened to be present, offered himself as a photographer when the idea came up to create a calendar with nude photos. When Jen finds out about this and suspects base motives, she tries to prevent Roy from getting the employees naked in front of the camera. First, the naked grandmothers of the employees à la Calendar Girls should soften the hearts of potential buyers. Most grandmothers are already too frail, so Roy tries to persuade total strangers to undress for his camera. This fails completely, and Jen now gets pressure from Douglas that the calendar must be an economic success. Jen tries to get Roy back to his original idea with the pretty women from the seventh floor, but now it is Roy who is concerned about his new girlfriend. Jen thinks about an entertaining alternative and realizes that laughing at "idiots" is currently required. So she gets Roy to try mad scientists for motives.

Jen takes on the job of “entertainment manager” in the company and has problems satisfying the wishes of business partners. Roy mourns his broken relationship. Ultimately, Moss can solve both problems with an RPG. Meanwhile, Reynholm tries to get rid of his “Shithead of the Year” award.

After Moss set the new record on the television show “Countdown”, he was invited to a club by a mysterious man who calls himself “Prime”. The 8+ club is exclusively for former Countdown guests who achieved exceptionally good results. While Moss lets himself be challenged by the former champion to a "street countdown", Roy tries in vain to clear up a misunderstanding between him and a former school friend. Because of a meeting in an inconvenient situation, it appeared that Roy was a window cleaner.
21st 3 Hocus' butt kiss Something happened July 9, 2010 Jan. 21, 2011 Graham Linehan, Richard Boden Graham Linehan
Roy injured his back and went to the masseur, but his visit there went differently than expected because the masseur gave him a kiss on his bare bones. In the meantime, Douglas becomes a “spaceologist” and tries to convince all of his employees of a new religion. Jen meets a rock band called Sweet Billy Pilgrim and falls in love with the keyboardist who is unable to show his feelings. Douglas, as a new “spaceologist”, however, wants a few things from the stars: first he wants a helicopter (and buys one shortly afterwards), next he wishes to learn how to tattoo (he buys a book called Make your own tattoos and tattoo yourself a helicopter) and the last thing he wants is an iron hand (his tattoo catches fire and his hand has to be amputated, then he buys an iron hand and puts it on his stump). Roy sues the masseur, drags him to court and wins. When Billy Pilgrim is kicked out of the band, Jen loses interest in him. Douglas ends up practicing using his new hand by smashing his office with it, and Moss says that if he got an iron hand he'd only use it for good, and runs away.

Jen shows off in a meeting that she speaks fluent Italian and is appointed as interpreter for a possible future Italian partner. Thanks to a translation machine, it works very well over the phone. Jen has to improvise face to face with the Italian without the help of her laptop. Roy also has problems: his colleagues cast doubts in him as to whether the parents of his new girlfriend really died in a fire in a sea lion show in a water park. He tries everything to make them - and himself - believe that one can die in a fire surrounded by water.

Roy and Moss roam the city in the afternoons instead of working. The exemplary Moss, in particular, is enthusiastic about it and even committed shoplifting. Back at the office, there is a supposed bomb on the sidewalk. Moss is very interested in the rescue robot and is therefore arrested for shoplifting.

Panic breaks out in the team after his wife, who was believed to be dead, shows up during an interview with Douglas Reynholm and sued him for the value of the company. He then takes Jen aside based on his literal interpretation of her position (Relationship Manager) as legal advisor. In the ensuing court case, Douglas tried every possible means to save his company, even if the statements and reactions of his employees did not paint a very good picture of him.

On September 27, 2013, IT Crowd aired a final, double-length episode on Channel 4.
