The Kaze (also known as Killa Klan Kaze ) is an American hip-hop musical group that was founded in 1990 in the city of Memphis , Tennessee .

history

The group started in the early 1990s, along with members of Scan Man and K-Rock, who were later replaced by Project Pat. The band shortened their name to The Kaze and released their first and only album "Kamakazie Timez Up".

Collectively known as The Kaze, the three artists released the album with the production of Three 6 Mafia . The album should be the only joint project of the group. After the release, MC Mack and Scan Man founded their Kamikaze label and broke the contract with Prophet Entertainment.

Tennessee's first major hip hop artists released their first album in 1998. After their second album sold well regionally, they signed with Lourd Records, which released All About My Hustle nationwide in 2001. Her second album Universal was KamiKaze Up in 2002. At this point they signed "Hypnotize Minds" with DJ Pauls and also created their own label called Kami Kaze Inc. In 2003 they released their upcoming mixtape, Remastered, on "Prophet Posse". In 2009 the group decided to leave the label on good terms.
