The Minnows (English for the minnows ) are a group of small islands and Rifffelsen that the Fish Islands on the north side of the Holte Dahl Bay before the Graham Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula are. They are east of Flounder Island .
They were mapped during the British Graham Land Expedition (1934–1937) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer John Rymill . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1959 based on the naming of the archipelago to which they belong.
