The One That You Love is a 1981 Air Supply song written by Graham Russell and produced by Harry Maslin. It appeared on the album of the same name.

history

The One That You Love is, as the title reveals, a love song and her only number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 . The release was on April 30, 1981. In the US Adult Contemporary Charts , the song failed to reach the top position on the song I Don't Need You by Kenny Rogers . The song also landed at number 2 in Canada, but after the Stars on 45 Medley. The Recording Industry Association of America awarded the song with a gold record .

Music video

In the first half of the music video, the band performs the song on a stage. In the middle part you can see the front man playing with his girlfriend in a forest and also swinging. Shortly before the end, the stage appearance is faded in again.
