The 2017/18 season was the 18th season of the Skeleton North American Cup , which is organized and played by the IBSF . Together with the 2017/18 Intercontinental Cup and the 2017/18 European Cup, this racing series forms the foundation of the 2017/18 World Cup . The results of the eight races of the season at two competition locations were included in the IBSF Skeleton Ranking 2017/18 .

In the women's category, US American Kelly Curtis won the overall standings ahead of Canadian Grace Dafoe . Third place went to Kristen Hurley from the United States. In the men's category, the American Austin Florian secured first place in the overall standings ahead of his team-mate Andrew Blaser . Third place went to the Japanese Katsuyuki Miyajima . This means that a person from the United States was able to win the overall standings again for both men and women, the last time being 13 years ago in the 2004/05 season .
