The 2017/18 season was the 18th season of the Skeleton European Cup , which is organized and held by the IBSF . This racing series, together with the Intercontinental Cup 2017/18 and the North American Cup 2017/18, is part of the foundation of the World Cup 2017/18 . The results of the eight races of the season at five competition locations were included in the IBSF Skeleton Ranking 2017/18 .

In the women's category, Brittin Brogan Crowley secured the overall standings in the European Skeleton Cup, making her the first female skeleton driver from the United Kingdom to do so. The Russian Alina Tararytschenkowa and the British Eleanor Furneaux took second and third place . For the second time after the 2014/15 season , no German female skeleton driver made it onto the podium in the overall ranking of the European Cup. In the men’s overall standings, Latvian Krists Netlaus won , who followed in the footsteps of Martins Dukurs , who won the 2002/03 European Cup . The two Russians Konstantin Choroschko and Artyom Drosdow took second and third place.
