Dominic Rady at the German Skeleton Championships 2018/19 in Altenberg
Dominic Rady lives in Bischofswiesen and has been doing skeleton since 2010. In his first participation in German championships he finished 14th in late 2011 , 15th in October 2012 and 6th a year later . In the 2013/14 season he made his international debut in the European Skeleton Cup and competed in all eight races of the season the pedestal. After three wins, four times second place and one third place, he won the overall standings ahead of his teammates Axel Jungk and Martin Rosenberger . At the 2014 Junior World Championships, he narrowly missed a medal and finished fourth.
In the 2014/15 season , Dominic Rady first started in the Skeleton Intercontinental Cup , where he achieved placings between 4th and 6th place. At the German championships he was fourth. He then took part in the European Cup and finished on the podium in both starts with 2nd and 3rd place. He then made his World Cup debut in Sochi and finished in 14th place. In the winter of 2015/16 he started again in the European Cup with two third places in Altenberg . On his home track in Königssee , he achieved two more victories in this competition in January 2016.
