The 2014/2015 Skeleton World Cup began on December 12, 2014 in Lake Placid and ended on February 15, 2015 in Sochi . The World Cup comprised eight stations in Europe and North America and was held parallel to the 2014/15 Bobsleigh World Cup . The racing series was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT). Following the World Cup series, the highlight of the season is the 2015 Skeleton World Championship from February 23 to March 8 in Winterberg . Simultaneously with the sixth World Cup in La Plagne (men) and the seventh World Cup inIgls (women) also hosted the European Championship .

The Intercontinental Cup , the European Cup and the North American Cup served as the foundation for the World Cup . The results of all racing series were included in the FIBT Skeleton Ranking 2014/15 .

The quota places for the individual national associations were assigned as follows on the basis of the FIBT ranking from the previous season:
