In the 2013/14 season Kilian von Schleinitz won silver at the German Championships behind Frank Rommel and ahead of David Lingmann . He then started in the Intercontinental Cup and won the first race of the season again, in this case in Igls . After three more podium places, he finished fourth in the overall standings. At the end of the season he was Junior World Champion in Winterberg ahead of Christopher Grotheer and Raphael Maier . For the following winter he was able to qualify for the World Cup, where he made his debut in December 2014. In his third race in Altenberg , he finished ninth for the first time in the top ten. In the overall standings he was 13th, although he was not at the start in the last race of the season, but instead contested the Junior World Championships in Altenberg, where he was fourth and missed a medal by just a hundredth of a second. He finished ninth at the 2015 Skeleton World Championship . In the 2015/16 season, von Schleinitz started in all eight races of the season in the Intercontinental Cup and came third in the overall standings, having consistently achieved positions between 3rd and 6th. At the Junior World Championships 2016 in Winterberg, he won the silver medal behind Nikita Tregubow .
