Ute Hankers (born February 21, 1965 in Iburg , today Ute von Schleinitz ) is a former German volleyball player .

In 1984 she took part with the German national volleyball team at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where she finished sixth. Ute Hankers played for VfL Oythe and CJD Feuerbach , with whom she became German champion in 1989 . She then played in Salzburg, Austria .

Ute von Schleinitz now lives with her husband and three children in Schönau am Königssee . Her son Kilian von Schleinitz is a skeleton pilot , her two other children Julian von Schleinitz and Carolin von Schleinitz are luge athletes .
