The 2012/13 Skeleton World Cup began in Lake Placid on November 5, 2012 and ended in Sochi on February 17, 2013 . The World Cup comprised nine stations in Europe and North America and was held parallel to the 2012/13 Bobsleigh World Cup . The racing series was organized by the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT). The highlights of the season included the European Championships from January 14 to 20, 2013 in Igls , which were held parallel to the World Cup, and the non-World Cup World Championships , which took place from January 21 to February 5, 2013 in St. Moritz .

The Intercontinental Cup , the European Cup and the North American Cup served as the foundation for the World Cup . The results of all racing series were included in the FIBT Skeleton Ranking 2012/13 .
