The 2004/05 Skeleton World Cup was a series of skeleton competitions organized by the FIBT between November 26, 2004 and February 12, 2005 . The European Cup and America's Cup served as the foundation for the World Cup .

The Canadian Jeff Pain and the American Noelle Pikus-Pace won the overall ratings for the first time. Pain also won the world title that season . The most successful nations were also Canada for men and the USA for women. Last year's winner Kristan Bromley only finished eighth, last year's winner Lindsay Alcock fourth. Among the women, starters from Switzerland and Germany were also able to place themselves well with five top ten placements among the best in the overall standings and three wins of the season, with the men four starters from Switzerland, Austria and Germany were among the top ten in the overall standings, a victory went to Switzerland.
