Masaru Inada

Masaru Inada ( Japanese 稲 田 勝 , Inada Masaru ; born November 2, 1978 in Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese skeleton driver .

Inada studied at Sendai University , has been involved in skeleton since 1997 and has been a member of the Japanese national team since 1999. He lives in Hokkaidō and trains in Sapporo . His trainer is Courtney Yamada . In November 1999 Inada made his debut as 22nd in Calgary in the Skeleton World Cup . In 2000 he took part in a skeleton world championship for the first time in Igls and finished in 22nd place. In 2002 he started at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and finished 18th. In December 2003 he competed in several races as part of the America's Cup and finished inPark City two second places, each behind Zach Lund . In January 2005, he achieved a top ten position for the first time in St. Moritz in tenth place. In Turin Inada 2006 again at the Olympic Winter Games and was 18th Inada was one of the few athletes who could take part in the Olympic skeleton competitions twice. In January 2007, when he finished third in Nagano, he achieved his best ever placement in a World Cup race. In 2001, 2005 and 2008 he was the Japanese runner-up. In 2000, 2004 and 2007 he finished third.

At the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, he was the coach of the Japanese skeleton and bobsleigh team of Shinsuke Tayama , Kazuhiro Koshi and Nozomi Komuro - Hitoshi Matsumoto was the coach.
