Shaun Boyle (born January 30, 1971 in Wollongong ) is a former Australian skeleton pilot .

Shaun Boyle started skeleton in 2001 and has been part of the Australian national team since 2001. In November of that year he contested his first international race as part of the European Skeleton Cup in Winterberg and was 42nd. Further races in the Europe, America's and Skeleton Challenge Cups followed until 2004. A planned start at the 2003 Skeleton World Championship in Nagano did not come about, Boyle's first World Championship was the world title fights in 2004 on the combined artificial ice rink at Königssee with a 24th place as a result. In November 2004, the Australian competed in his first World Cup race in Winterberg and was 19th there. That was also his best result in the World Cup. Another highlight was the 2005 Skeleton World Championship in Calgary , which ended with a 22nd place for Boyle. The 2005/06 Olympic season became the final season . Boyle went again in the World Cup, but never achieved a better ranking as number 29. The last highlight was the 2006 Olympic Winter Games of Turin . The Australian finished 22nd in the skeleton competitions in Cesana Pariol .
