Jekaterina Stepanowna Mironowa ( Russian Екатерина Степановна Миронова ; born November 3, 1977 in Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian skeleton pilot .

Yekaterina Mironowa made her debut in February 2000 in the Skeleton World Cup at a race in Winterberg , where she was 15th. In her second race a year later in Park City , she finished ninth in the top 10. Mironowa's best placement in the World Cup was a second place in Lake Placid , which she achieved in December 2001 and achieved again in January 2003 in Igls . At the 2001 World Championships in Calgary she was fifth, two years later in Nagano she even won the silver medal, which should remain her greatest success so far. Between the two world championships, she took part in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , where she was seventh.

Mironowa is considered a good starter. In 2003 in Groningen she won the starting world championship.
