Costanza Zanoletti

Costanza Zanoletti (born December 2, 1980 in Novara ) is an Italian skeleton pilot .

The student Costanza Zanoletti lives in Santa Maria Maggiore and has been a member of the Italian national skeleton team since 2002 . She starts for SC Saulze D'Oulx and is trained by Hansjörg Raffl . Zanoletti's greatest international success was the fifth place at the Olympic Games in her Italian homeland in 2006. She was able to leave several of the favorites behind. In the Skeleton World Cup , in which she has been participating since 2003, she has never been in the top ten. The best result so far was a twelfth place in 2007 in Igls . In 2007 she achieved her best place in the overall World Cup with a 20th place. She has participated in the Skeleton World Championships four times since 2003 , the best result being a 15th place in Nagano , when she first participated. Zanoletti was one place better in 2007 when she took part in a European skeleton championship in Königssee . She won the bronze medal at the Italian Championships in 2003 and the title six times in a row from 2005 to 2010.
