Kelly Moffat (born January 12, 1981 ) is a former New Zealand skeleton pilot .

Kelly Moffat started skeleton in 2002 and has been part of the New Zealand national team ever since. The athlete from Morven made her debut in the Skeleton World Cup in Calgary in November of that year and finished 22nd. Towards the end of the season , she finished 16th, achieving her best World Cup result. She finished eleventh at the 2003 Junior World Championship in Königssee . Shortly afterwards she finished 18th at the 2003 Skeleton World Championship in Nagano . Since 2003 Moffat has not only competed in World Cup races but also increasingly in the Skeleton America's Cup and the Skeleton European Cup . At the 2004 World Cup in Königssee, the New Zealander was 21st, the 2005 World Cup in Calgary 23rd. For the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , Moffat missed the qualification against Louise Corcoran , but took part as a member of the coaching staff. She contested her last race in November 2006 in Calgary. After that, she ended her career because of a pregnancy.
