The Skeleton World Cup 2005/06 began on November 10, 2005 in Calgary / Canada and ended on January 27, 2006 in Altenberg / Germany . The sixth World Cup in St. Moritz was rated as the 2006 European Skeleton Championship . The European Cup and America's Cup formed the foundation for the World Cup . The highlight of the season was the following Winter Olympics in Turin .
