Ivan Pokos

Ivan Pokos (born August 1, 1975 in Berlin ) is a Croatian skeleton driver and racing driver .

Ivan Pokos has been involved in skeleton since 2002 and has been part of the Croatian national team since then. He lives in Zagreb and is trained by Alex Szelig. Pokos competed in his first international race in December 2002 as part of the European Skeleton Cup and finished 30th in Winterberg . In February 2003 he started his first skeleton world championship in Nagano and finished 24th. A year later Pokos in Koenigssee 30. In November 2005, the Croat in could Calgary its debut in the Skeleton World Cup give (38). He missed qualifying for the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in the internal Croatian qualification against Nicolai Nimac . During the season he also competed in the newly created Skeleton Intercontinental Cup and achieved his best result, 14th place, again on the Königssee track.
