Stefano Maldifassi (born October 31, 1970 ) is a former Italian skeleton pilot .

Stefano Maldifassi from Milan started skeleton in 1997 and has been part of the Italian national team since 1998. In January 1999 he contested his first World Cup race in Igls and finished 31st there. The Italian drove his best season in 2002/03 , when he was 13th in Igls and 14th in Altenberg and St. Moritz , his best World Cup results reached. At the Skeleton World Championship in Nagano in 2003 he was 19th, in 2004 in Königssee he was 23rd. Maldifassi finished the 2003 European Championship at the same time as the Norwegian Odd Arne Almli in 14th. He was particularly successful at national level. Between 1999 and 2003 he won the Italian championship title five times in a row . In 2004 he was runner-up again behind Maurizio Oioli . He contested his last races in 2005. Today Maldifassi works as a technician for the Italian Skeleton Federation.
