Villa Rauhenstein

The Villa Rauhenstein is a representative villa on Helenenstrasse at the foot of the Rauhenstein ruins in the Weikersdorf district of Baden .
The historicist magnificent building was built in 1894 by master builder Josef Schmidt on behalf of Mrs. Anna Löwy. The floor-to-ceiling villa later became the property of the composer Hugo Wiener (1904–1993) and was sold a few years ago by his widow Cissy Kraner and converted into apartments.
