Lee Han-sin (born February 27, 1988 in Jinan , Jeollabuk-do ) is a South Korean skeleton pilot .

Career

Lee Han-sin started skeleton in 2010 and started his first international season in the Skeleton America's Cup , where his best result was a 13th place in Calgary . He also contested four races as Kim Dong-hyun's push in the America's Cup in bobsleigh and finished eighth in Lake Placid as the best result . At the Junior World Championships in 2011 he was 18th. The following season he took part again in the America's Cup and was twelfth in the overall standings. In addition, he made his debut in the second half of the season in 2012 in the Intercontinental Cup , where he placed between positions 19 and 21. In the now renamed Skeleton North American Cup 2012/13 he reached two tenth places for the first time in Whistler and in the following season he achieved his first single-digit results in both the North American Cup and the Intercontinental Cup . In the 2014 Olympic Games of Sochi , he missed the decisive fourth round, finishing in 24th place.

In the 2014/15 season Lee Han-sin made his debut in the World Cup and achieved a 22nd place in Calgary as the best result in four races at the beginning and end of winter. In between he started in the Intercontinental Cup and placed there between the ranks 5 and 11. At the Skeleton World Championships 2015 in Winterberg , he finished 24th. In 2015/16 he also started the season in the World Cup and in the second race in Winterberg, in eleventh place, barely missed his first top 10 finish in the most important racing series.
