Terry Windell

Terry Windell (* 18th September 1956 ; † 21st July 2018 ) was an American special effects - Animator and television director .

Career

Windell began his career in the early 1980s as an effects animator with Industrial Light and Magic (ILM). Among the first works in which he for ILM to the special effects has worked include ET - The Extra-Terrestrial and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi . In 1984 he switched to the Entertainment Effects Group , where he worked as an animation supervisor a . a. for the films Ghostbusters and 2010 - The Year We Make Contact . In the late 1990s, Wendell also tried his hand as a television director, staging ten episodes of Star Trek: Spaceship Voyager and one episode of Star Trek: Enterprise . In 2011 and 2012 he was the visual effects supervisor for the films Breaking Dawn - Until the end of the night: Part 1 and Breaking Dawn - Until the end of the night: Part 2 . In the same capacity, he worked for the television series Wayward Pines in 2015 .
