Skeleton Intercontinental Cup 2014/15

The Skeleton Intercontinental Cup 2014/15 is a racing series organized by the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT), which is being held for the eighth time and is part of the substructure of the World Cup . The results of the eight races of the season at five competition locations are included in the FIBT Skeleton Ranking 2014/15 .

Participation rates

The quota places for the individual national associations were assigned as follows based on the FIBT ranking from the previous season:

• Men:
  • 3 starting positions: Germany , Canada , United States , Russia    
  • 2 starting places: United Kingdom , Japan , Austria , Switzerland , Italy , Australia      
  • all other nations 1 starting place
• Women:
  • 3 starting positions: Germany , Canada , Russia , United States *    
  • 2 starting places: United Kingdom , Australia , Italy *, Netherlands *    
  • all other nations 1 starting place

(The nations marked with * received their starting places through an exception, as the new allocation of the quota places was only decided after the end of the preseason.)
