Skeleton European Cup 2011/12

The 2011/12 European Skeleton Cup was a skeleton racing series organized by the Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT) . It was held for the twelfth time and comprised eight competitions on four different artificial ice rinks.

The European Cup, like the America's Cup , was part of the foundation of the World Cup and the Intercontinental Cup . The results were incorporated into the FIBT Skeleton Ranking 2011/12 .

Starting places

The quota places for the individual national associations were assigned based on the FIBT ranking from the previous season. For women, Germany, Italy, Latvia and Slovenia were able to start four athletes each; for men, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland and Russia had four athletes each. All other European and African associations were allowed to use up to three, all Asian, American and Oceanic associations up to two athletes.
