Robynne Thompson (born October 27, 1991 ) is a Canadian skeleton athlete .

Robynne Thompson lives in Calgary . She started playing skeleton in 2007. She contested her first race in the performance area as part of the Skeleton America's Cup . In January 2008 she made her debut in Calgary, where she finished tenth. In 2009 , the Canadian achieved first single-digit placings in Lake Placid , finishing ninth and fifth. At the start of the 2009/10 season , Thompson only had to admit defeat to Diana Gruber in Park City . In the following race she was third in the same place, in Calgary a little later again second behind Lanette Prediger . She started in seven of the eight races of the season and reached eighth place in Lake Placid as the worst place. In the overall standings, the Canadian came third behind Jaclyn Laberge and Prediger.

At the 2011 World Championships in Königssee , Thompson reached eleventh place.
