Maria Sournatcheva
Maria Sournatcheva , married Schrage ( Russian: Мария Сурначёва , Marija Nagacheva ; born July 23, 1988 in Moscow ) is a Russian oboist .
Professional development
Maria Sournatcheva received piano and recorder lessons from the age of six . Later her main interest was the oboe . At the invitation of the Spiwakow Foundation, she traveled to concerts in the USA, Canada and France in 2000. In 2001 she received an offer from the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media to continue her musical training in the oboe class of Klaus Becker (musician) . At the Institute for the Early Intervention of the Gifted (IFF) she lays the foundation for an international career. Since 2005 she has received a grant from the Yehudi Menuhin “ Live Music Now ” grant . In 2008 and 2009 Sournatcheva was the solo oboist of the Lower Saxony State Orchestra. Maria Sournatcheva has been the solo oboist in the Musikkollegium Winterthur since the 2012/13 season .

- 1997 first prize in the competition "Nikolaj Rubinstein and the Moscow Music School"
- 1998 second prize in the TV competition "Young Musicians of Moscow"
- 1999 winner of the “Veo-Veo International” competition of Spanish television
- 2000 scholarship holder of the Spiwakow Foundation
- 2001 first prize at the international youth competition as part of the festival " Oldenburger Promenade "
- In “ Jugend musiziert ” she received several first prizes at national level, both in solo and duo ratings
- 2004 Award of the Braunschweig Classix Festival in a concert with the Braunschweig State Orchestra and member of the Federal Youth Orchestra of the German Music Council
- 2007 third prize in the ARD music competition
- 2010 winner of the Praetorius Award Lower Saxony
- 2011 winner of the European Lions Club oboe competition in Maastricht
- 2017 ECHO Klassik (concert recording of the year)
