Daniel Lingenauber (born March 14, 1991 ) is a German skeleton athlete .

Daniel Lingenauber is a trainee and lives in Olsberg . The athlete of the RSG Hochsauerland started with the skeleton sport in 2004. In the same year he took part for the first time in German junior championships, where he was 14th. In 2008 he was able to win the title. Lingenauber has also started internationally since the 2008/09 season . He contested his first race at the start of the season in Winterberg on his home track, where he was behind Sebastian Haupt and John Dalyin his first race not only immediately reached the podium in third place, but also achieved his best result so far in the European Cup. He was used in seven of the eight races of the season and achieved three single-digit placements, but the placements deteriorated steadily over the course of the season. In the overall ranking, the Sauerland was seventh. In the 2009/10 season Lingenauber was used again in seven of eight races and again achieved three top ten placements, but was overshadowed by the three other German starters Alexander Kröckel , Christian Baude and Alexander Rotte , who took the top three overall rankings achieved. The 2010/11 season began with races in the Skeleton America's Cup . In Park City he was able to place himself in third place behind Kröckel and Pawel Tschujko in the first race of the season and at the same time in his first race in this competition series .
