Daniel Lingenauber is a trainee and lives in Olsberg . The athlete of the RSG Hochsauerland started with the skeleton sport in 2004. In the same year he took part for the first time in German junior championships, where he was 14th. In 2008 he was able to win the title. Lingenauber has also started internationally since the 2008/09 season . He contested his first race at the start of the season in Winterberg on his home track, where he was behind Sebastian Haupt and John Dalyin his first race not only immediately reached the podium in third place, but also achieved his best result so far in the European Cup. He was used in seven of the eight races of the season and achieved three single-digit placements, but the placements deteriorated steadily over the course of the season.
