The Person and the Challenges. is a biannual magazine for Catholic theology founded in 2011 by Józef Stala and published by the Pontifical University of John Paul II , Tarnów Theological Faculty .

The magazine contains articles on the following and related topics: human dignity, rights and duties, development of democracy, modern education, new models of life for people in the 21st century, education in families and schools, political , economic, social and religious upheavals, changed value structures, the influence of modern science and technology on the humanization of the world and the spiritual life of people, the threat to the holistic development of people and similar questions. Previously unpublished texts are printed in German, English, French and Spanish and are freely accessible as PDF files on the Internet. The title of the magazine was inspired by the title of the book Person und Deed (Osoba i czyn) by Karol Józef Wojtyła , later Pope John Paul II.
