Sleeper
Sleeper is a British independent band that was active in the 1990s and had various hits in Great Britain. The band has been active again since 2017. Louise Wener is the singer of the band. The band recorded three studio albums in the 1990s: Smart , The It Girl and Pleased to Meet You . The release of a new studio album is planned for 2019.

Her breakthrough single Inbetweener had a video with Dale Winton , who was a popular character among college students at the time. The group is closely associated with Britpop . When the popularity of Britpop fell in 1997, Sleeper's audiences dwindled too. After the separation of the band Louise Wener was successful novelist author .
The band recorded a cover version of Atomic by Blondie , which in the film Trainspotting was used.
The original name of the band was Surrender Dorothy . You were inspired to get this name from the film The Magic Land .
