The Soldiers are a British band made up of three soldiers from the British Army .
Career
The Music Manager 2009 Jeff Chegwin presented the trio together. All three are active soldiers and have already been involved in war missions. Welshman Ryan Idzi also had stage experience through his participation in The X Factor 2006. The singers made their first appearance in the Royal Albert Hall in early November 2009 at the Festival of Remembrance .
The Soldiers became so popular that their simultaneously released album Coming Home , which mainly consists of new recordings of quiet oldies, debuted at number 4 in the UK and reached platinum status within a few weeks .
With the Christmas single A Soldier's Christmas Letter they also hit the single charts in mid-December .
