The Transmissionary Six
The Transmissionary Six (sometimes just called T6 ) was a music project from Seattle , Washington . Terri Moeller's fragile singing is a special feature . Her husband Paul Austin played various guitars , both were supported by guest musicians if necessary. Influences from alternative country and electronica shaped the style.
Terri Moeller is the drummer with the Walkabouts , Paul Austin is a founding member of the Willard Grant Conspiracy , but left this band due to stylistic differences.
In September 2008 the band announced that they would split up after the last concert in December. Paul Austin joined the Walkabouts as the sixth band member.
Terri Moeller started the solo project Terri Tarantula in 2009 .
In 2012 the band announced that they would resume their work together as The Transmissionary Six and announced concerts and more albums.
