The Underdog Project is a music project backed by producers and DJs Toni Cottura , Steve Browarzcyk and Shahin Moshirian (aka Shahin by Shahin & Simon). The project is represented by the singer Vic Krishna.
biography
The Underdog Project was born when singer Vic Krishna , who was born in the Fiji Islands and grew up in Canada , visited his friend, the musician Craig Smart, who was also of Canadian origin , in Germany . The two began to make music together and finally got the chance to do test recordings with the music producer Toni Cottura, whom Craig Smart knew from a video shoot.
In 2000, the first single called Summer Jam was released . The song became a summer hit and made it to number 3 in the German single charts. The second single Tonight , which appeared in November 2000, could not build on the success.
With a remix of Summer Jam by The Sunclub, The Underdog Project once again received European attention. The remix reached number 1 in the charts in Belgium and the Netherlands. In Denmark and France he placed in the top 5.
