The Watchtower ( English for The Watchtower ) is a 400 m high, steep-walled and flattened rock massif on the southeastern foothills of the West Antarctic James Ross Island .
Otto Nordenskjöld , head of the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903), gave the massif its descriptive name in March 1902.
