The world starts with me! is a computerized program for sexual education and AIDS prevention. The target group of the project were initially 12 to 19 year-olds with English language skills in Uganda . Uganda had 52 schools nationwide with internet access in 2004; to date (2008) 100 schools are connected to the project. The scientific evaluation of the project is planned for 2008.

In the meantime, WSWM has also been used in Kenya, Indonesia, Thailand, Nigeria, Vietnam and India.

The program was developed by the Dutch non-governmental organization World Population Foundation in collaboration with Butterfly Works and the Ugandan Schoolnet. In 2004 the project was awarded a Golden Nica in the Digital Communities category at the Prix ​​Ars Electronica .
