Theater education center

Theater Pedagogical Centers (TPZ) are institutions that initially promote and support regional theater pedagogical activities and network their actors as well as train them. Theater pedagogical centers are nodes of regional as well as supraregional as well as international networking of theaters , institutions of cultural and aesthetic education as well as social institutions.

The offers or tasks of theater education centers usually include:

  • Education and training in theater education
  • Fixed theater groups for children, teenagers and adults
  • Temporary projects such as project weeks, holiday games and workshops
  • Advice and support in matters of game management
  • Placement of theater educators at other institutions
  • Organization of festivals, specialist meetings, symposiums, conferences
  • Organization of guest performances for children and young people
  • Rental of lighting and sound equipment and other materials
