Theo Mettenborg
Theo Mettenborg (* 1971 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is a CDU politician and has been mayor of the city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück since 2009.

Theo Mettenborg was born in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in 1971 and grew up with his five siblings on their parents' farm between Wieksweg and Wegböhne.

Mettenborg ran for the first time in 2009 for mayor in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. He was able to prevail with 66.59% of the votes against the competitors of the SPD and Greens. He was confirmed in office in the 2014 local elections and received 68.46% of the votes cast by three opposing candidates from the SPD, Greens and FDP.
