Theo Pointner

Theo Pointner (* 1964 in Bochum ) is a German crime novelist .

Life

Theo Pointner studied business administration . He lives in Essen . In addition to writing crime stories, Pointner works as a medical controller in a Duisburg clinic.

Works

Theo Pointner has published ten detective novels so far, with the exception of the first they are set in Pointner's hometown of Bochum. The heroes of the series in these novels are Detective Inspector Katharina Thalbach from Bochum and her colleagues from Detective Inspectorate 11, who usually solve several related murders per novel. In addition to the portrayal of the investigation into the murder, the private life of the commissioner and her colleagues also have narrative space in the novels.
