Theobald von Bethsan (also Thibaut de Bessan ; † after 1315) was a titular lord of Bethsan and a knight in the Kingdom of Cyprus .

He was the eldest son of Walter von Bethsan († 1315), titular lord of Bethsan, from the French noble family Béthune from his first marriage to Marguerite Babin. However, the city and rule of Bethsan had been occupied by Muslims since 1183 and in the following period the Crusaders did not succeed in recapturing rule, even if they sacked the city in 1264. After the fall of Tripoli in 1289, he lived in Cyprus .

In his first marriage he married Nicole († 1300), daughter of Balian von Ibelin , Lord of Arsuf . In his second marriage he married Alix, daughter of Simon of Montolif († 1291), Marshal of Cyprus, who had died in the siege of Acre . He left no children.
