Theodor Storm House
The Theodor Storm House in Husum in Schleswig-Holstein is a literary museum for the poet and writer Theodor Storm , who lived here from 1866 to 1880.
The former Landvogtei and Storm's study are located on the ground floor of the house in Wasserzeile 31 , while the so-called crockery room with old tableware is located on the upper floor. In addition, pictures and objects from the possessions of the poet and his circle of friends are on display. The living room is almost as it was in Storm's lifetime, the so-called Hademarschen room is a memorial to the last period of the poet's life. The other rooms contain a scientific library and an archive, which are used for research projects by the Storm Society.
The Theodor Storm Society is based in the Storm House .
