Thilo Corzilius

Thilo Corzilius (born August 3, 1986 in Dortmund ) is a German writer , copywriter and theologian.

life and work

Thilo Corzilius was born in Dortmund in 1986, grew a. a. in Dortmund, Cologne and Lohne (Oldb.) . After graduating from high school in 2005 and a subsequent voluntary social year, he studied Protestant theology in Hamburg, Göttingen and Münster from 2006 and graduated in 2012 with a diploma. He was ordained an old Catholic priest in 2017, was then vicar in Freiburg im Breisgau and has been pastor in Essen since 2019 .

In 2011 and 2012, his novels Ravinia and Epicordia were published by Piper Verlag , which received mostly favorable reviews . With Dorn in 2013 he finally turned to classic high fantasy , and with Foregone to science fiction . In addition to his work as an author, Corzilius also appeared as a musician and as a consultant for youth and adult education.
